In January 2025, I launched The Street Sound Bites SF Project, a street interview series designed to spark deeper thinking and create a positive ripple effect.
Through short, thought-provoking questions asked to strangers on the waterfront of the Pacific Ocean in San Francisco, the project challenges people to go beyond the surface of everyday conversation.
The goal is to break routine patterns of thought, inspire self-reflection, and bring unexpected wisdom into the public space.
This project draws on my 10 years of experience as a researcher and designer, skills I’ve used to understand people in depth, while also pushing me into new creative territory through a longtime personal interest: video making.
It’s an exploration of human insight, connection, and the power of asking the right question in the right moment.
By closely observing audience responses and analyzing performance analytics, I continually refine the format to better understand what resonates and deepen the impact of each conversation.
As part of this process, I’m also developing a clearer understanding of how Instagram and TikTok function differently, not in terms of the content I create (which remains the same across both platforms), but in how that content is received, shared, and surfaced through each platform’s algorithm and user behavior.
